Greetings, Members!
Activities with Our Community Partners
WHS Alumni Banquet On April 6 at the Community Center, the Wilton High School Alumni Association will hold their annual banquet. What a great opportunity to celebrate with WHS alumni, see a few members of the Class of 2024 win some amazing scholarships, and buy raffle tickets for the Freedom Rock Smorgasbord prizes! Doors open at 5:30 and the meal starts at 6 pm.
Spring Break Beaver Hunt Over Wilton’s Spring Break, March 16-24, the Wilton PTO will hold a Beaver Hunt, where children can explore our community businesses as they search for Beavers hiding around town! At school, children will be sent home with a word scramble with ten locations listed. They will unscramble the names, visit those locations, and find a Beaver there with something special that the kids will write down. They will hand in this sheet when they return to school on March 25 to be entered into a drawing for prizes. Grace Jipp and the Wilton PTO are spearheading this activity, which also involves a cutout of the Beaver at City Hall that children can get a photo with and post on the Wilton PTO Facebook page.

ISU Extension and Outreach Community and Economic Development (CED) A decade ago, CED undertook an effort with the State of Iowa to provide easier access to local government finances. The Iowa Government Finance Initiative’s (IGFI) annual city and county fiscal condition reports provide current financial information and trends for all of Iowa’s cities and counties, allowing them to better understand changes in their financial situation and compare themselves with others around the state.
