33rd Annual Wilton Founders Day

The 33rd Annual Wilton Founders Day celebration will be held Friday and Saturday, August 23rd& 24th in downtown Wilton!

 

The carnival this year is Superior Equipment.  Advanced tickets can be purchased up until 4 p.m. on Friday from Community Bank, Central State Bank and the Chamber office.  Tickets are 22 for $18 and rides do take 2 or more tickets each.    

 

51st ANNUAL JAKE DAVIES SMORGASBORD

This year’s Jake Davies Smorgasbord will begin at 6 o’clock on Tuesday, May 21, 2013.  The Annual 10 cent meal is sponsored by the Wilton Chamber of Commerce and is a way for Wilton businesses to thank area customers for their patronage throughout the year.  The menu features Ham & Turkey sandwiches and more.  Don't miss it!!  

 

 

The Smorgasbord is a dinner served to hundreds of visitors by the local business people. If you have an organization that would like to have display booth; please feel free to do so.

2013 Founders Day

The Founders Day committee has met and is making plans for this year’s event.  The theme will be “Halloween” and the grand marshals are Jack & Barb Schmoll.  We would love to see a lot of parade entries this year!  Once again there will be the eager beaver run, cornhole tournament, carnival, bingo, car show, parade, etc.  The bands this year are Friday (8/23) night from 9 – 1, "Three Musicians and a Drummer" and Saturday (8/24) from 9 – 1 "Crazy Delicious" from Cedar Rapids! 

2013 Legislative Forum

Legislative Committee of the Wilton Chamber of Commerce will hold a Legislative Open Forum on Saturday, March 9, 2013 from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. at the Wilton Community Room – 104 E. 4th St.

 

 

This meeting will have Representative Bobby Kaufmann, Representative Mark Lofgren and Senator Robert Dvorsky on hand to answer and discuss current issues before both the House and the Senate.

 

51st Annual Chamber of Commerce Dinner

The wilton chamber of commerce will hold its 51st annual dinner on Saturday, Febuary 2, 2013 at the Wilton Community Center.

Social hour begins at 6 p.m. With dinner following at 7 p.m.  Tickets are $20.00 each.  Those who would like to attend are encouraged to make their reservations with the chamber office as soon as possible.  This dinner is open to the public as well as chamber members.  Contact the office for tickets by Wednesday, January 30, 2013.

 

 

Annual "PINK" Night Football Game

The Annual “PINK” night football game this year is Oct 12th.  October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and we are staying with the “PINK” theme.  But there are so many different types of cancer and so many are affected in one way or another.  So, all money raised this year will be combined and donated to the American Cancer Society. 

 

 

The Beavers only have 1 home game in Oct this year.
